Free CD from Microsoft

Microsoft is offering a free CD-ROM with updates and security software for several versions of Windows.

The CD is designed especially for Windows users with slower dial-up Internet connections. It contains software updates released before October 15, 2003. More recent updates are available via the online Windows Update service.
