Sanyo's new DVD Boomer looks interesting.
It's a DVD player in "boombox" format, combining DVD video playback with CD audio, AM/FM radio, and even karaoke.
Given all the features, the $220 price tag is remarkable.
The DVD boombox has a six inch LCD screen (with 16:9 widescreen video). Use it in the car with 12-volt power (cord included) or with eight "C" batteries (not included). If you're indoors, just connect to standard AC power.
The DVD Boomer plays DVD movies, CD/CD-R/CD-RW and MP3 audio, and support JPEG images (so you can see still pictures as well as video).
It comes with a remote control, telescopic antenna, output jacks for video and audio/headphones, and two microphone inputs for karaoke (microphones not included).
